I don’t know about you all, but I plan to sit on a pontoon boat with a cold drink in my hand (weather permitting), snacking on indulging foods this Memorial Day Weekend. I’m so excited to kick off summer with good friends and family. I’m picturing long, chilly nights by the fire, sipping on this Avaline cabernet. The lake is simply the most tranquil escape for any New Yorker (well, I guess I’m a Jersey girl now—but whatevs).

What I’m Packing

First, I’m packing that linen matching set from Target—it was under $40 and has vertical blue and white stripes. The top has three ties in the front, which makes it super breathable yet semi-scandalous. I’m really leaning into sailor chic for this weekend.

I’m also throwing in a pair of white wide-leg sailor jeans. They go with everything, especially after a day on the boat when the sun starts to go down and I’m lounging around waiting for the grill to fire up for dinner.

I’m especially excited because my sister, Natalia, and I are all going to match in red, white, and blue bikinis—so expect some cute pictures coming your way rain or shine.

Obviously, I’m bringing a few bikinis, but I’m especially excited about the white crocheted cover-up I found. It looks like a mini dress, but it’s light enough for the boat and still gets you service at the bar. Win-win.
