Naples Packing: What I Wore & What I Bought
I recently returned to a location I visit almost every year: Naples, Florida.
I’ve always loved coming to this town — not just for the beautiful weather, but to see my incredible Godparents and cousin (s/o Grace!). Naples has become a tradition for me, and each trip brings a mix of family time, sun, shopping, and style moments I always look forward to.
Where I Visited & What I Wore
One of my favorite places to revisit was La Playa Hotel, the perfect spot for a relaxing beach day. I spent the afternoon soaking up the sun in a triangle-shaped bikini (my go-to for easy tanning). To keep cool, I wore light-colored slide sandals— highly recommend if you don’t want your shoes to feel like lava. I also brought along my new hat (as seen in my previous post) for extra sun protection.
That evening, we stayed at the hotel for dinner. I slipped into my palm tree caftan in Pear from Natori paired with platform sandals and bold silver jewelry — the perfect look for a breezy beachfront meal that still felt elevated.
Coastal Lunch Looks
For lunch dates, I leaned into coastal chic with a gorgeous jersey pareo with metal detail that doubled as a cover-up. Another great option would’ve been a lightweight caftan or an easy sundress — anything breathable and cute. I styled the look with an gold jewelry to match and my sunhat, making it effortless yet put together.
Night Vibes
When it came time to hit a cocktail bar, I wanted something a little sexier and more elevated. I reached for a designer piece — because nothing beats a little black dress on vacation. It’s the ultimate packing essential. I dressed it up with heels and a luxurious white leather handbag. Packing an LBD on any vacation is the kind of piece that could easily be toned down with flats and dainty jewelry too.
Stylish Surprise
One of the most unexpected highlights of the trip was a visit to a charming boutique in Naples called Cypress & Palm. My aunt took me there, and while I was excited to check it out, I didn’t expect to walk into a closing sale on luxury pieces — talk about perfect timing.
As we browsed, a stunning long satin pleated halter dress immediately caught our eye. It was displayed on a mannequin outside, just waiting to be worn. My aunt instantly knew it was so me and made me try it on right then and there. The color palette was breathtaking — a perfect summer blue with green and orange stripes, complete with a matching belted waist that gave it a beautiful shape.
She treated me to the dress as a gift, and it’s safe to say I’ll be cherishing it — and this memory — for a long time.
Unexpected Finds
Wow — I went a little overboard with my findings on this trip. I stopped into the PGA store and somehow walked out with an adorable tennis skirt from Fila and a short-sleeve zip-up polo from Wilson. Definitely not on the shopping list, but when in Florida — surrounded by tennis and golf style — it felt right to fit the theme. Plus, I see them as smart investment pieces for any spontaneous pop-up round.
I also visited one of my favorite boutiques, Best of Everything, and couldn’t help myself: I picked up a stack of chunky silver bangles, inspired by Kylie Jenner’s recent vacation looks. I also grabbed a cute silver choker chain, because silver is my go-to.
Randomly, my cousin and I stumbled upon a local market happening outside of brunch. While we waited for our table, we browsed the booths — and I found an adorable silk scarf for only $5! I couldn’t pass it up.
The Boca Raton Mall
We wrapped up the trip with a visit to the Boca Raton Mall. I had hoped to find a new bathing suit for summer, but instead I discovered a Turkish designer boutique called Serena Uziyel that completely drew me in.
Their main focus is hand-woven craftsmanship into shoes and handbags, each featuring their signature chain detail. I learned they recently opened a store in New York City on Madison Avenue, so I’ll definitely be stopping by to see if they carry different pieces.
Final Thoughts
This trip was everything I needed — relaxing, inspiring, and full of style moments. I got to spend quality time with my family, soak in the Florida sun, and even shop a bit with my boyfriend, who was the reason we even stepped foot in the PGA store (haha).
Looking back, it’s trips like these that remind me how much I love combining fashion with travel, and how meaningful it is to share those moments with the people I love.
